So very sorry to hear now of your mum/grandma's passing!! You All we're so lucky to have such a wonderful lady in your lives!! Bernadette was a gracious and genuine lady. She exemplified that over the years I knew her. Her sense of humour was a delight. She will be missed as a genuine elder lady of Peigan Nation. In the latter years of her life, it was an honour to serve as medical driver to appointments at the Fort Macleod Health Centre (Dialysis Clinic). During those drives early mornings, she shared stories and encouraged my use of the Blackfoot language. At times, she would request the Blackfoot word for this and that. I would take it upon myself to find the word.
To the family of Bernadette and Isidore, I offer my sincere condolences. Grace and peace from our Father and Jesus Christ.
