George Edwin Brown beloved husband of the Late Mary Lou Brown, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2017 at the age of 90 years.
George is the oldest son of Frank and Georgena and was born in Macleod in 1926. He, along with his older sister Gloria and younger brother Bob, spent their earliest years in Nobleford and Standoff, later moving to the west coast, living at Powell River and New Westminister, BC. A final move brought the family back to the Prairies. George spent his late teens and early twenties farming and ranching until he met Mary Lou Noel who he married on August 20th, 1951. His career spanned a range of jobs including a number of years working with the CPR and operating the BA and UFA bulk agencies.
