It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Morris at home at the age of 80. He will be fondly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Joyce; his children: Barb (Dave), Chris, Tammy and Lorinda (Frank); his grandchildren: Melissa, Lindsey, Alex, Dolan, Ryley, Tristan, Trevor and Kaelyn; his siblings: Johanna, Marianne, Josie and Julian ; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Morris was born in Great Britain and immigrated to Canada when he was 18 years old. After coming to Canada he worked in mining for a short period of time in Ontario; then he made his way to the Pincher Creek area working as a farm hand. He was a nurse at the Pincher Creek Hospital for close to 30 years. In his spare time was a manager and the bus driver for the Pincher Creek Huskies Hockey Team for many years. He enjoyed playing crib and other card games with family and friends. 
There will be no service held for Morris as per his wishes; instead there will be a 'Come and Go Tea' held in his honour on Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 1:00-4:00 P.M. at 523 Kettles Street, Pincher Creek, Alberta. All are invited. 
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories, #40, 1202-2nd Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 0E3.
