Peggy Richardson

It comes with heavy hearts to announce the passing of our Mum Peggy Richardson. On Monday June 18, 2018 Mum was reunited with her beloved husband Cal; the ‘Love of her Life’ at the age of 92.

Left to cherish her memories are her children Dave & Gisele & family, Jim, Peggy Anne & Bruce and sister Joy & Paddy & family in England, 8 beautiful grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren she referred to as angels. Also to all of you who knew Mum as ‘Nanny’ hold on to your memories. There are so many important friends & family too numerous to mention.

Mum was predeceased by Dad, infant baby Margaret May & son Bill, and just recently by her sister Marge. Mum was born July 14, 1925 in Worthing, Sussex, England. Married Cal October 23, 1943 and came to Canada in March, 1946 as an English War Bride. They raised a good family and enjoyed their life together.

We would like to thank Dr. V Luykenaar and Dr. X Vander pol, she adored both of you!  Thank-you to Mum’s “caregivers” along the way…she referred to you as her  loves and darlings! Blessings to St. Ambrose Parish for including Mum in your ‘family’, Mum’s faith was her guiding light. Hugs to Uncle Carl, Shirley, Gloria and Bonnie, you really made an effort to stop by for a hug and say hello. To Remi, you made a difference in her days. A private family service and celebration of life will be held in Mum’s honor.

Please, as per Mum’s special request, no gifts of flowers or food; “Just spend a day with your children & grandchildren(little loves) and teach them how to LOVE” or make a small donation to your favorite childrens charity.
