Abraham Vandervelden Obituary

ABRAHAM PETER VANDERVELDEN, beloved husband of Dianne Vandervelden, passed away in Fort Macleod on Thursday September 4, 2020 at the age of 86.

Abe was born on April 6, 1934 in Fort Macleod Alberta where he spent his whole life. He married the love of his life Dianne on October 14, 1961. Abe was the Brand Inspector for 39 years as well as farming with his family on the Blue Trail family farm. Abe is survived by his loving wife Dianne and 3 daughters, Wanda, Beverley, and Patti, 3 grandchildren, Kolten, Sidney and Rylee, and one Great Granddaughter Paislee. Abe was predeceased by his brother Jack Vandervelden( Nina), sister Gertie Collar(Mick), and Parents Jacob and Pietertje Vandervelden.

No service will be held at this time, Friends who wish may to donate to the Jack Ady Cancer centre 960 19 St S, Lethbridge, AB T1J 1W5
