Allie Conner quietly passed on Thursday afternoon May 16, 2024, just 2 weeks short of her 95th Birthday.  Allie was born, raised, farmed, and retired in Fort Macleod and vicinity.  Her parents, the Schmale’s, Kobus’ and Louwenaar’s, moved from Holland and settled in the Hollandale District where Allie was born and spent her early years.  Allie married Roy Conner who farmed just southwest of town.  Allie was an active farm wife and mother raising their eight children.  In the early 90’s they retired and moved into Fort Macleod. 

Allie is predeceased by her husband Roy Conner; daughter, Shirley Klukas; and grandson, Cody Conner.

She is survived by (Walter) Klukas; Lorraine Fleming; Denzil (Susan) Conner; Kevin (Sherrill) Conner; Peggy (Kelly) Donahue; Ron (Laurie) Conner; James (Corinne) Conner; Jodie (Budd) Van Driesten; as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Allie is also survived by her brother Joe (Brenda) Louwenaar.

A Private Graveside will take place at Union Cemetery, Fort Macleod.

A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity United Church, 220 20 Street, Fort Macleod, AB, on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 1:00 PM.
