Barbara Blachford

It is with great sadness, the family of Barb Blachford announce her passing on June 22, 2024. 

Barb was a long-time resident of Pincher Creek, AB.

Barb was born in Westlock, AB on June 19, 1936. She met her husband, Ian Blachford in Hardisty while he was with the Highways department. They married on May 7, 1955, and were married for 65 years.

Barb had a passion for flowers and could be found in the summer tending to her flowers.

Barb was predeceased by her lifelong partner Ian and is survived by her 3 sons; Reg (Lynette), Robert (Peggy) and Rodney (Lisa) along with her Grandchildren; Megan (Christopher), Mathew (Marsha), Brandon (Eva), Katherine, John, Ian, and Jacob. Great Grandchildren Gabriel, Emerson, Royce, Brody and numerous great grandchildren.  

Barb is predeceased by her parents, and brothers Ian and Doug.
