Coal Armstrong Obituary

Coal Armstrong, a compassionate and bright young man passed away on December 16, 2021 at the Calgary Foothills Hospital.  Coal was born on August 14, 2003 in Cranbrook, B.C to Jaret Armstrong and Mandy Sims .  He is survived by his  father Jaret Armstrong, step-mother Jaime Armstrong, younger brother Jesse Hale, grandparents Dave and Valerie Armstrong, and step-siblings Dallas Hale, Courtney Allred, Tasha Hay and Tyler Hay, as well as many chosen family he gathered throughout his life.  He is predeceased by his mother Mandy Sims. Coal was a beautiful soul who was loved by everyone who knew him, and his love radiated back to everyone he met.  Coal was always willing to lend a helping hand and took pride in being there for others. 

Coal graduated from St. Michael’s High School with the class of 2021.  Upon graduating Coal work at the Pincher Creek Walmart and prided himself in hard work and his working community. He spent his days with his friends, family, and his family dogs.  He could often be found tinkering on vehicles, playing video games, and learning new skills. Coal will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends and all who he lent a helping hand to.
