David Heaton Obituary

We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved father and grandfather on May 1, 2022. Born in Bellevue on November 6, 1939 and raised on the family ranch in the Maycroft district.

David is survived by his children Rob Heaton and Nicki (Todd) Goodreau. David has 11 Grandchildren, Geoffrey, Taylor, Trevor, and Alley (Goodreau), Emilie, Natalie, and Noel (Heaton), Allissa, Nicolas, Josh, and Jayson (Heaton) and 1 great-grandson Theo. David is predeceased by his wife, Joanne, son Kevin, brother Skip, George and parents George and Kathleen Heaton.

David loved to share fond memories of his years on the ranch and how he could put anyone on his favorite horse Buddy. His friendships with the other ranchers, particularly Vern Dennis he held dear to his heart right to the end. Dad will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, friendly smile, and mannerism. He also loved nothing more than being surrounded by his grandchildren and giving them words of wisdom. David was always quick to offer a helping hand to anyone that needed it.

A heart-felt thank-you to all those involved in the care of our father.
