It is with great sadness and love, we announce the passing of Donald John Barker, who passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, at the Cardston Health Centre, surrounded by his loving family.
Donald was born on December 29, 1941. He is survived by his beloved wife, Jean Eagle Child-Barker.
He was predeceased by his parents, John William Barker and Edith Barker, and by his siblings Gordon, Stanley, James, Clarence, Mary, and Edie.
Donald will be lovingly remembered by his surviving siblings Shirley, Doreen, Ken, and Gladys, along with the Eagle Child family, extended family members, and friends.
Donald’s life will be honored through prayer, fellowship, reflecting both his faith and the cultural values held close by his family. He is now at rest, carried home in peace and love.
