Donald Keith Miller

Donald Keith Miller, age 63, of Coaldale Alberta died peacefully, the evening of November 18, 2020, of a massive stroke in the Lethbridge Regional Hospital.

Don was born May 18, 1957 in York, Pennsylvania to the late Charles and Dorothy (Witmer) Miller. He married Mary Weaver in April 15, 1978, and they were blessed with seven children and twenty-eight grandchildren.

They moved to Tilley, Alberta in March of 1981. Their family relocated to Coaldale, Alberta in May, 1985. Don was called to the Ministry for the Bethesda Mennonite Church in October of that year. He faithfully served there until his death.

Don began Miller Lawn Care in 1987 and remained active in the business until his death.

He is survived by his wife Mary, of forty-two years, and all of his children; Wesley (Tabitha) Miller of Belen, New Mexico, Delores (John Mark) Shenk of Belen, New Mexico, Linford (Rhoda) Miller of Ashland, Wisconsin, Dianne (Tim) Shaum of Coaldale, Alberta, Richard Miller of Coaldale, Alberta, Vernon (Marilyn) Miller of Two Hills, Alberta, and Kervin (Krista) Miller of Coaldale, Alberta. He loved his family and very much enjoyed time spent with them. We treasure the legacy of faith he left behind for us.

His brothers and sisters are; Glenn & Anna Lois Miller of Bloomfield, New Mexico, (Betty) & Lee Schrock of Craig, Colorado, Marian and Nelson Torkelson of Pueblo Colorado, Dottie & Herb Torkelson of Duchess, Alberta, Paul & (Jean) of Spring Grove, Pennsylvania, Rhoda & Dallas Witmer of Tabio, Colombia, Ruthie & Daryl Bair of Quarryville, Pennsylvania, and Jim & Rhoda Miller of Tilley, Alberta.

He was preceded in death by an infant brother Robert, both his parents, sister Betty, and sister-in-law Jean.

A walk-through viewing was held on Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Bethesda Mennonite Church in Coaldale, AB. 

A private burial took place in the Coaldale Community Cemetery.
