Fenton David Sharp

Fenton Sharp of Lethbridge, beloved husband of Mrs. Helen Sharp, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the age of 86 years. 

Fenton was born in Notikewan, AB on April 20, 1939, to John and Margaret Sharp. The family moved to Fort Macleod in 1954. This is where Fenton met and married Helen Lylock in December of 1962 and in 1963 their son Jady was born. Over the next seven years they welcomed daughters Jody in 1966 followed by Tami in 1970. Fenton worked on the CPR as a conductor for 30 years until his retirement in 1994. 

Fenton and Helen made the move to Lethbridge in 2004. They spent many years driving all over the province to watch their grandkids in sporting events, dance recitals and more.

Fenton is survived by his wife Helen (nee Lylock); daughters Jody Sharp of Lethbridge and Tami (Doug) Paisley of Lethbridge; sister in-law Anne Genest of Victoria; granddaughters Morgan, Logan, Brooklyn, Mckinna, Alexis and Torrince; grandsons Brayden, Presten and Turner. 

Fenton was predeceased by his parents John and Margaret Sharp and his son Jady Sharp.

There will be no formal funeral service.
