Hermann Berke

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Horst-Hermann Berke (born March 9, 1951) of Coaldale on July 30, 2021, beloved husband of 49 years to Brigitte.

Hermann was an amazing father and “the best opa in the world” to Matthew (Lauren); their child Seth Berke, Clinton (Jennifer); their child Max Berke, Joshua (Rhiannon); their children Julian and Ava Berke, and Sarah and her children, Alexandra Noelle Leger and Hunter Taylor.

Hermann is also survived by his mother Adele Oglesby, uncle Emile Dorok, aunt Talita Andrejcsik, aunt Tillie Krueger (Hilmer), cousins Christine Sekura (Al), Mark Krueger (Cory), David Krueger, Ann Kambietz (Steve), and Michel Andrejcsik (Beth)

Hermann was predeceased by his father Hermann Berke in 1953.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 2:00 P.M. till 4:00 P.M. on August 12, 2021, at Eden’s Coaldale Funeral Home (1711-20th St, Coaldale, AB). A celebration of Hermann’s life to follow at 85010 RR 21-1 (Howe Rd) from 4:30 P.M. till 9:00 P.M.
