James (Jim) Albert Matson of Coalhurst, Alberta, passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 61 years. Jim leaves behind his adult son Dallas Matson to mourn. He was predeceased by both his parents Albert and Marion Matson, as well as his sister Ruby, and a sister that was born sleeping in 1971. He leaves behind his son Dallas, his many nephews and nieces, as well as 2 younger brothers, and a younger sister. He will be missed by many.

A celebration of Jim's life will be announced at a later date.

Donations in Jim's memory can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
