Passed away peacefully at home, on May 16, 2022
Mom was born in Westlock Alberta, September 1, 1932, to Joachim and Flora (Houle) Renaud. She was the youngest of six children.
She married our Dad, Gordon Casey, on September 28, 1955. They had seven children, Colleen (Francis) Cyr, Gail (Randy) Yaklin, Janet Casey, Susan (Kevin) Turner, Jo-Anne (Dan) Cote, Loretta (Terry) Jones, and Kathryn (Randy) Poole. They had 13 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren: Joseph (Jessica) Cyr and their children Patrick, Carter, Zachery, Martin, and Catherine; Jenni (Jesse) Newman and their children William, Maria, Heather, and Rachel; Ryan (Kara) Yaklin and their child Eli; Travis (Megan) Yaklin and their child Barrett; Carline (Brandon) Humphrey; Jeremy (Chantal) Cote and their children Jonathan and Bernadette; Cameron (Catherine) Cote and their child Eleanor; Emily Cote; Kellen (Gina) Jones and their child Amelia; Connor (Stephanie) Jones and their child August; Matthew, James, and Anna Poole.
Mom loved the simple things in life…sunflowers and daisies, phone calls with her daughters and grandchildren, playing cribbage with her friends Ken, Anne, and Irene, and saying the Rosary every day with Janet.
God has welcomed Mom home and she is together again with Dad.
