We are sad to announce the passing of Linda Mary Judd, who passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026, in Lethbridge, AB. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Stan and Anne Judd. She is survived by her three brothers, Michael, Patrick (Gwen), and Tom (Vivian), and several nieces and nephews. As well as great nieces and nephews.
Linda was given many things – faithful, kind, charitable, and she was intelligent. After earning her nursing degree, she continued to gain knowledge through many distance learning courses, always achieving high honors.
Linda was an independent spirit with love of learning, animals, and natural world. As a young person she insisted on riding the biggest horse at the fastest pace to the Coalfield School barn, a mile away from our Beaver Mine home. This didn’t always end well but Linda survived and achieved her goal of becoming a registered Nurse and achieving a Bachelor and Nursing Degree.
In her professional career, Linda worked in Calgary, Lethbridge, and Nelson, BC. The rigours of emergency, operating room environments combined with long shifts and city living wore heavily on this country girl who preferred the open field and mountain vista. Forced by declining health, she took retirement from her career at an early date. After leaving nursing, Linda worked for Canadian Blood Services for many years.
In later years, Linda enjoyed art and reading and kept on top of global events. She always expressed her concern for the disadvantaged persons in society, often giving all within her means to support them through various charities.
An active spirit and generous humanitarian who gave more than she received in this life. She has already met the most rigorous requirements for “angel hood.”
A Family Service will be held on April 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM, at the chapel of Eden’s Funeral Home, Pincher Creek.
Inurnment in Fairview Cemetery following the family service.
