It is with deep sadness that we wish to share the passing of Marjorie Melba Chapman. To her friends and family, she was known as Jerry. She peacefully passed away after a long battle with cancer.
Jerry was born in Lethbridge, Albera but lived in Fort Macleod her whole life. She loved everything about small town living. Jerry was a devoted mother, sister, daughter, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a member of many local coffee crews as she shared stories about her life and her family with her friends.
Jerry is survived by her three daughters, Linda (Scott), Cindy, Judy, sister-in-law Charlene, four grandchildren, Amy (Byron), Jackie (Ryan), Stephen, and Michael (Kylie) and four great-grandchildren, Cohen, Dylan, Declan, and Clayton. She will be missed by her long-time friends Sharon and Charlotte.
Jerry was predeceased by her husband Harry, mother Margaret, Father Jim, brother Bobby, and two sisters Jeannie and Joanie.
In honor of Jerry’s wishes, a Memorial Service will not take place. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Empress Theatre Society, or the Community Care Beds at the Fort Macleod Health Centre.
