It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Rose Orr (Wood) on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at the age of 79 years.
Mary was born in Lovell, Wyoming on May 24, 1945, to Fenton and June Wood. She was one of 8 children.
On May 15, 1965, she was married in the Cardston Temple to the love of her life, Bryce Orr. They were blessed with four children and settled in Fort Macleod.
Mary worked at Extendicare for 30 years until she retired.
Mary and Bryce loved to travel to see the kids and grandkids and would take many pictures.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Bryce, her children Michelle (Ken), Bruce (Anita) and Dawn (Terry) and 7 grandchildren and 5 great grand children. Mary is also survived by her siblings, Peggy, Janet, Julie (Randy), William (Susan) and Rich (Treva).
She was predeceased by her son Rusty, her sister Valerie, brother Micheal and her loving parent’s Fenton and June Wood.
Friends and Family are invited to her Celebration of Life on Monday. September 16 at 1:00 pm at the LDS Church, 643 20th Street, Fort Macleod. There will be light refreshments served after in the gymnasium.
