Pat Johnson was a caring wife, mother, sister, and friend. She left this world on November 10, 2023, at the age of 76 years. Daughter to G. Alister (Al) Roberston and Carol (Bubs) Lakness, she was born on March 17, 1947, in Pincher Creek, Alberta.
She met her husband Robert (Bob) Johnson in Unity, Saskatchewan. They married on Aug 22, 1964, in Unity, and had two sons Rob and Don. As a family they moved back to Pincher Creek area in 1973, first living in Twin Butte and moving into the town shortly after. With deep family roots, Pincher Creek will remain her home. Pat loved her family, and you could basically consider yourself family if she blessed you with some of her sarcastic wit. Later in life her passions of gardening and bird watching became more prominent. Her home and gardens contain a vast variety of plants and bird feeders that form a large part of her legacy.
Pat was predeceased by her son Rob, brother Alvin, father Alister, mother Carol, step father Walter Lakness, father-in-law Martin, mother-in-law Alida, and brother-in-law Brent. She is survived by the love of her life for 59 years (Bob), her son Don, devoted sister Linda (Doug) Smith, grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her uncle Mitch Reboy. Forever loved, sadly missed.
“Be happy for me dear ones, wipe away that tear, for I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.”
On behalf of Loly, Don, and Bob Johnson, we would like to thank the Pincher Creek EMS staff for their excellent response time, as well as their expert advice along with the Pincher Creek R.C.M.P.
