Pauline Pickens (nee Le Caine) of Fort Macleod, Alberta passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, July 16th, 2021.
Pauline was born on August 30, 1934, to Caroline and Walter Le Caine in Wood Mountain, Saskatchewan, where she met and married Cecil Pickens on June 15, 1959. Together they moved to Fort Macleod in 1970 where they made a home and raised their family together.
Pauline is survived by her children: Philip Le Caine, Lorri (Gordon) Mackintosh, Sherri (Joe E.T.F) Day Chief, Colleen (Ken) Anderson, Arlene (Neil) Coutts and Shannon (Dale) Pickens; her twenty-one grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren; her siblings: Iren (George), Lee (Barry) and Clifford (Margaret); as well as numerous other family members.
Pauline is predeceased by her husband, Cecil Pickens; her parents: Walter and Caroline Le Caine; as well as her siblings: Margaret, Stella, Joe, Rose, Valerie, Doris, and Willard.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at the Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in Fort Macleod, AB (2604 3rd Ave, Fort Macleod, AB). Inurnment to follow at Fort Macleod Union Cemetery.
