Robert "Jim" James Gilbertson

Robert "Jim" Gilbertson, the beloved husband of the late Marina Gilbertson, passed away at the age of 87 after a brief illness. He is survived by his son Robert and his daughter Joanne Gilbertson.

Jim was born in Edam, Saskatchewan. After graduating, he joined the force and became an RCMP officer for the majority of his working years. He moved to Fort Macleod in 2007, where they retired on an acreage. His days were spent gardening and spending time with all their animals.

He wanted to thank his favourite nurses at the care bed in Fort Macleod, who took amazing care of him during the last month of his life, along with Dr. Beekman for his attentive care over the years, and the amazing staff at IDA Pharmacy for all that was done for him. We would also like to thank Tanya Collar for all the help and visits over the last couple of years. These visits always brightened dads days.

Honouring Jim's request, no services will be held.
