With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Roberta Robinson.
Roberta passed at the Pincher Creek Health Centre with her husband Boyd, the love of her life, by her side at the age of 79. Roberta fought a courageous battle with many health issues. Despite the amazing care of the medical staff she wasn’t able to overcome complications of pneumonia and Covid.
Prior to her declining health, Roberta loved to travel and spend her summers at their lake house in Montana. Her greatest passion was her home and maintaining her garden and flowers. She loved to drive back roads and enjoy the scenery and looking at the beauty nature offered.
Roberta loved her family, daughters, grandchildren, and her husband. She was a private person, caring, compassionate, and a great friend to those who knew her.
Roberta was predeceased by her parents Bob and Jeanette Burns, and her younger brother Murray Burns. Along with her husband and best friend Boyd, Roberta is survived by her children: Tracy (Vane) Hughson of Foremost, AB, Jodi (Jeremy) Ames of Pincher Creek, AB, five grandchildren: Bailey (Cody), Garret, Kale, Lane, and Cade, two great-grandchildren Ryatt and Harlow, and a third on the way.
Grief is the price we pay for love.
At Roberta’s request, no Funeral Service will be held.
Donations can gratefully be given in her memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
