Shirley Cisar

November 22, 1953 – July 23, 2020

It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of Shirley Cisar, at the age of 66 years.

Shirley was born in Calgary and raised in Pincher Creek. She loved her little house and looking after her roses.  Jigsaw puzzles were her favorite past time and she was a wiz at Word Find puzzle books.

Shirley attended the Chinook Bible Church and enjoyed going on the annual outings with the ladies of the church.

Music concerts to see singers including Kenny Rogers, Irish Rovers, Michele Wright, and Tom Jackson Christmas Shows in Lethbridge and Fort Macleod were highlights each year for her birthday. Shirley loved everything about Elvis and had a little collection of memorabilia. Last year she was able to see an Elvis Impersonator at the Legion and had her photo taken with him.

Mini family trips to places like Waterton, Fort Steele, Kimberley, Tyrell Museum, Medicine Hat, Calgary Zoo and Heritage Park were fun outings for her too. She loved beating Jim at mini golf, enjoyed walking and being outdoors.

She is survived by her brother Jim (Donna), and their children Naomi (Matt) and Brad (Emily) and their families; aunt Anne Cisar, and several Cousins.

The family appreciates all her friends and especially all the health care workers for helping her over the years, but especially these past six months after her back surgeries.
