Steve passed away suddenly Tuesday morning, April 14, 2020. He was born in Rossburn, Manitoba on Oct. 2, 1937. He arrived in Fort Macleod in 1970 when the one-ways were constructed through town.
He was predeceased by his brothers Nick, John, Joe, and Mike; and his sisters Sophie, Jean, Polly, and Lillian His sister Mary survives at the age of 100.
Besides his wife, Margaret, he is survived by his daughter Elaine Radlinsky-Shworan (Craig) and his sons Brent (Deanne) and Michael (Trish), and his grandchildren Jessica, Jimmie and McKinley Radlinsky-Shworan.
Retirement was not his cup of tea and he soon was back to work for Bouvry Exports doing grader work. He was as happy as could be when he was on his grader. He would joke that he was going to work till he died and he did just that.
He loved to talk to anybody and everybody. He had silly little jokes for everyone he met on his daily trips around town.
Due to the physical distancing situation at this time, his family held a memorial in his back yard that was streamed on Facebook for friends and family to watch. They will host a Celebration of Life later in the year, once the pandemic is over.
