Taylor Yorgason Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Taylor Molly Marie Yorgason. Taylor was born on June 4, 1993 and passed on July 31, 2022 at the age of 29 years old. Taylor passed away in her family home surrounded by loved ones after an arduous battle with cancer.

Taylor was a sweet, kind, and gentle human. Those who had the pleasure of getting to know Taylor, got to experience what a beautiful soul she really was. She could light up a room with her smile and laughter. She was always so sweet and nice to everyone around her. She carried these qualities throughout her whole life even when times seemed so dark. Her positive energy always radiated through.

Taylor graduated from Fort Macleod High School in 2011, remaining on the honour roll throughout her school years. After graduating, she then went on to post secondary education at the University of Lethbridge. She obtained her Bachelor of Health Science in Addiction Counselling with Distinction in 2016. Following the completion of her degree, Taylor received her cancer diagnosis. This unfortunately prevented her from practicing her career to her full potential but she was able to practice a short time with Victims Ranchland Services, a job with which she greatly cherished.

Taylor is survived by her loving parents, Lonnie and Johnny Yorgason, her brother Nicholas Yorgason (Chelsey) and her sister Megan Yorgason. She will be deeply missed by her doting grandmother Dorothy Asuchak; her two beautiful nieces, Emerson and Bella Hardy; her uncles, Robbie Asuchak, Barry Yorgason, and Danny Smith (Wendy); her aunts, Joey Asuchak and Cathy Weiss; and her cousins, Natasha Hurlburt (Austin), Robbie Asuchak (Tara), Jennifer Asuchak, Adam Smith, Deanna Asuchak, Angela Weiss, and Jamie Weiss. She will also be missed by her Grandmother Joanne O’Sullivan. She has gracefully been reunited in her next life with her grandfathers Mike Asuchak and Gerry Yorgason; her Aunt Sharron Asuchak; her Uncle Randy Asuchak; her niece Molly Anna Hardy; her cousin Jesse Smith; her very special great Auntie Merle Krasnicki, and her beloved dog and protector Diesel.
