Thelma McRae of Pincher Creek, beloved wife of the late Bruce McRae, passed away at the Good Samaritan Vista Village, at the age of 87 years.
Thelma was born in Sangudo, Alberta, on December 30, 1932. She was the first of 3 children born to John and Viva Grandgenet. On September 4, 1953 she married Bruce McRae of Camrose, Alberta, and later moved to the family farm in Pincher Creek, Alberta, where they raised their 3 sons.
At a young age Thelma made a choice to serve the Lord which was an anchor to her for her entire life. Her example to her children and others in her life has been a great encouragement to many.
She leaves to grieve her passing her sons Doug (Jean), Gord (Clara) and Brent (Trish); sister in law Pat Grandgenet; brother in law Dale Blain; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and many friends.
Thelma was predeceased by her husband Bruce McRae; parents John and Viva Grandgenet; brother Glen Grandgenet and sister Ina Blain.
