Truda Dianne Louey

It is with sadness and heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Companion. Truda Louey passed away at Chinook Regional Hospital, Lethbridge, Alberta, on June 20, 2021, at the age of 72 with her loving and faithful Companion Stan Fisher and Family by her side. Truda is survived by her son Russ (Lisa) Louey; her Grandsons: Lance Brooks, James (Laura) Brooks, Kaden Louey; and her 2 Great-Grand daughters: Ellianna and Layla Brooks. Also, survived by Stepson Daryl (Cathy) Louey; and Grandchildren: Chad, Brenna, Kayleigh, Jenaye; and Great-Grandsons: Milo, Madden, Maverick and Myles. Also, Truda is survived by her Sisters: Gail (Fred) Plettl, Myriam Wiebe, Cindy Haslam, Dixie (Gord) Brewster; and her Brother Lee Haslam.

Truda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; Whether it was travelling to Arizona in the winters or to the coast of Terrace, B.C during the hot summers to catch salmon. Truda was a social butterfly and touched many lives during her time on this earth and will continue to be missed and cherished by many.

Truda’s Celebration of Life will be announced later when arrangements by the family have been made.

On behalf of the family, we would like to send our greatest appreciation and upmost thanks to the staff at Chinook Regional Hospital ICU for making Truda comfortable and peaceful during her passing.
