Garth Padley, beloved husband of Margaret Orr, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2023, at the Community Support Beds in Fort Macleod, AB. He is predeceased by his parents William Calvert and Mary Eccles Padley, brother William Graham Padley, grandson Tyler Parker, 2 nephews, and 1 niece.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Orr Padley, his children: Marianne (Bob) Parker of Nanton, Larry (Jennifer) Padley of Calgary, Jeanne (Mike) Chartrand of Calgary, Dale (Lori) Padley of Calgary, his sisters Roslyn (Robert) Thernes and Janis Anderson, both of Merrit, B.C., five granddaughters, stepson Glenn (Lynne) Gallup, as well as 2 stepdaughters. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews.
Many thanks to the nurses and staff of the Fort Macleod Community Support Beds Unit, and Dr. Steven Beekman for all the kind care you have extended to Garth. Our deepest thanks from all of the family.
The Funeral will be held as a private Graveside Service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Garth’s name can be made to the Fort Macleod Community Support Beds.
