Ildiko (Nikki) Julia Sandor

It is with heavy hearts that we sadly announce the sudden passing of Ildiko Julia Sandor, lovingly known as Nikki, on Saturday, July 22nd, 2023, at the age of 65 years. Nikki passed away from a sudden heart attack at the Fort Macleod Health Centre.
Nikki was a strong and proud Hungarian lady who always had home cooked food on the stove and a pot of coffee to share. She will always be known for her amazing generosity and her infectious laughter.
Nikki was an incredibly proud Nagymama to Sawyer and Kate Hackenschmidt, a loving mother to Megan (Jordy) Hackenschmidt, sister to Susan Sandor and Vendell (Donna) Sandor, aunt to Nicole (Matt) Blaser, and their sons Aksel and Roland), as well as Jason Roy and his son Damien. Nikki will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and she is survived by her longtime partner, Keith Gervais.
Cremation has taken place. Nikki's family invited all those who wished to celebrate her life, share stories and say goodbye to such a vibrant soul on Saturday, July 29th, 2023, from 1:00-3:00 pm, at the REO Hall, 470-17th Street, Fort Macleod, AB.
