Richard John Vandersluys
We are sad to announce the passing of John at the age of 87 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Dementia.
John is survived by his daughter Deloralie (George) Brown, granddaughter Lindsay (Brendan) Grant, great-grandson Zachary, and great-granddaughter Zoe Grant.
He is also survived by grandson Tyler Brown and great-grandson Eli Brown, as well as his son Richard Michael Vandersluys.
John was predeceased by his loving wife Shirley Vandersluys, in April 2002.
John was employed by Eden’s Funeral Home in Fort Macleod for many years, and loved his work!
A private family service was held in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s name can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
