It is with great sadness that we are announcing the passing of our wonderful mom, Lynda Louise Cook, of Pincher Creek at the age of 78. She passed peacefully in Pincher Creek with her 4 girls at her side.
She is predeceased by her adoring husband Ken Cook of 64 years. She is survived by her daughters Cathy (Ward) Kolesar, Connie (Dale) Varley, Jackie (Trae) Cook and Janet Cook. Her grandchildren Brad, Kellie, Niki, Jessie, Zac, Alex, Nash, Hayden and 4 great grandchildren who were all the light of her life, and her sister Diana (Roy) Reed.
Lynda is also predeceased by her parents Buck and Louise Jack, her brother Rick (Roselyn) Jack and her sister Elaine (Richard) VanTol.
Lynda was an avid golfer and curler back in the day, anything to be with Ken. She loved to play bingo, play cards and join the ladies for coffee. She was a country girl at heart and treasured her massive garden at the farm on the edge of Pincher Creek where she and Ken lived for 40 years. Family was her everything and she took every opportunity to circle herself with great company. She was always ready for a good laugh and a good time. She was the glue holding the bunch together and will be missed every day.
Lynda never wanted the attention to be on her, so to honor her wishes, no service will be held.
