Margaret Bullock of Pincher Creek, passed away peacefully on May 13th, 2022, at the age of 81 years. She was the daughter of Dorothy and Herbert King. Margaret is survived by her two sons, Ian (Sarah), Adrian Bullock, and her brother Ken (Janet) King.
Margaret was born on October 9th, 1940, in Hampton in Arden, UK. She studied comptometry and worked in this field for Rolls Royce aircraft engines. Then she met her husband Anthony (Tony) Bullock and married in 1965. Her two sons were born in the UK. The family emigrated to Pincher Creek in 1977. She worked as a partner with her husband for Midwest Masonry until his passing. She worked for the Pincher Creek handicap association and at the Pincher Creek Hospital as a care aid.
Margaret was an avid knitter, bridge player and enjoyed socializing over coffee with her friends. She enjoyed giving back to the community through volunteering on boards and committees in Pincher Creek. Margaret really felt that Pincher Creek was her hometown living there for over 40 years.
The Bullock family wants to thank everyone at Vista Village, especially the entire Salonen family, for their love and support. Margaret's family knows she was well-loved in the community, and she will be missed by many.
A celebration of Margaret's life will be held on Saturday, June 4th, 2022, 1-4 pm at the Pincher Creek Legion, friends and family are welcome.
