Mrs. Wanda Elaine Williams (nee Dykshoorn) was called home by her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Monday, May 5, 2025 at the age of 68. Wanda is survived by her loving husband Gary of almost 35 years; sisters Marion (Bryan) Wilde and Leona Heppler; sister in law Lorinda Dykshoorn; in laws John (Donna); Linda Brown; Al (Dee); Mary Lou (TJ); Ruth; Bruce (Shalaine); sister in law Fenny and many beloved in-laws, nephews and nieces from the Dykshoorn, Haze, and Williams families. She was predeceased by her parents Dick and Dena Dykshoorn; first husband Tony Haze; brother Ron Dykshoorn; brother in law Glenn Heppler; and brother in law James Williams. Wanda was born on September 1, 1956 at St. Michael’s Hospital. She attended Foremost School and Lethbridge College and graduated with her bookkeeping diploma. She worked for a small accounting firm until she was married to Tony Haze in 1978 and moved to the dairy farm near Granum. Tony passed away in 1987. Wanda was married to Gary on May 16, 1994 at the Granum Christian Reformed Church and moved to the Williams Apiary near Granum. She spent the last months of her life at the Good Samaritans West Highlands facility in Lethbridge.   A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the GRANUM CHRISTIAN REFORMED CHURCH with Rev. Henry VanBoom officiating.
