It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Andrea Mills on Oct 28 2026, at the age of 54. A daughter, sister, mother, aunty and grandma, born Dec 1, 1971 to her mother, Fay Mills and deceased father John Rabbit. Andrea was a very fun loving person with a humorous personality who loved to laugh. She attended pre school at W.A Day School in Fort Macleod, and senior years at Father Lacombe in Calgary, she also attended modeling school and work experience course as a salesclerk in between her school years. She enjoyed participating in sports such as basketball and volleyball in her youth. Andrea took pride in her work, growing up starting off as everyone’s babysitter then worked towards being a teacher's aide and finally became a full time housekeeper for most of her years. Andrea was adventurous and humorous; her sister Stephanie and her would play with the grocery carts turning them into RVs or sneaking candies at the store. She would always say “lets pray and ask for forgiveness”. Another memory, Steph and Andrea went to pick berries with their cousins and got chased by a moose, luckily managed to run away up a steep wet and muddy hill the moose couldn’t get up the slippery hill and they all got away. Andrea loved Halloween, dressing up and all the candies she would get, she always had a bag of candy stashed away in her purse every where she would go. She loved animals especially her cats… no matter where she was there would be a cat following behind her.
Andrea is survived by her 3 children daughters Samantha Simon (Lucas), Faith Mills, and deceased son Tyson Simon, sister Stephanie Mills (Dean); nieces, Angel Curly Rider (Easton), Emily Curly Rider (Koda); and nephews Silas Curly Rider and Branden Curly Rider and all her loving grandchildren and other relatives. Extended family, Eagle Child, Chief Body, Tallman, Jerry, Hunt, Crow Chief, Kings, Heavy Heads, Mountain Horse, Eagle Tail Feathers, Melting Tallow, Many Chief. The family apologizes for any names they have missed as you were all very important to her.
