It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Jessie Richardson who passed away peacefully at home in Fort Macleod, AB on October 6, 2026, at the age of 79.
Dave was born on April 5, 1947, in Raymond, Alberta. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. His presence was an important part of our lives, and his absence will be deeply felt.
Dave leaves behind his wife Gisele; sister, Peggy (Bruce); daughter, Lana (Warren); sons, Clint (Nancy), and Keith (Tracey); as well as his 8 grandkids and 4 great grandkids. He will also be remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and everyone else whose lives he touched.
Dave was predeceased by his parents, Peggy and Cal; brothers, Bill and Jim; and his grandson Riley. Their memories remained a part of him, and we take comfort in knowing that those who went before him will always be a part of his life story.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Eden’s Funeral Home, 2424 – 5 Avenue, Fort Macleod, AB, on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
